My Nova Scotia Cookbook - Chanelle Jefferson (Bridgewater)

Chanelle Jefferson¬†is a born and bred¬†Nova Scotian¬†artist raised on fresh seafood, and leafy greens. She displayed an early passion for the arts that led her to study International Baccalaureate (IB) art classes in high school and pursue visual arts workshops in her free time. She currently works as an illustrator, painter and printmaker, while operating her business where she sells and distributes her works.¬†¬†My Nova Scotia Cookbook¬†provides a delicious selection of¬†Nova Scotia favourites for all cooks ‚Äď beginner to experienced. This cookbook is a collection of recipes from¬†Chanelle‚Äôs¬†personal-favourite cook:¬†Nana.¬†Other recipes were provided by professional local chefs, family members, and other¬†Nova Scotian‚Äôs¬†who just, well‚Ķ know how to cook. Chanelle Jefferson's¬†whimsical drawings illustrate aspects of each recipe, making it easy for readers to break down and prepare these Atlantic dishes.

(Golden) is a Lakeside, Nova Scotia company owned and managed by  Jim Baker since 1977. The company’s textile product line includes such items as T-shirts, hats, vests, jackets, pants, golf shirts and sweatshirts, which are normally purchased from outside suppliers and then silk-screened and embroidered. Golden not only manufactures products but also designs, markets, and distributes them. Over the last  years the company has built a solid reputation for original quality products, exceptional workmanship and reliable on-time delivery.

Nova Scotia Cookie Cutter - The Boathouse Goods & Gifts  (Hammonds Plains)
The Boathouse Goods & Gifts is a small online shop based in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia which features unique products with a special nod to the maritime provinces. After an unsuccessful attempt to find a Nova Scotia shaped cookie cutter to add to a gift box, owner Anne Hooper decided to have 10 made by a local shop thinking she would be able to use a few and then give the rest away as gifts. One year, and over 2,000 cookie cutters later, her product line has expanded to include glassware, serving boards and other giftware. All products are lovingly designed and manufactured at Anne’s home-based studio (with the exception of the glassware which is printed in Elmsdale).
